I currently live in Italy, as an American Mother Tongue English Professor for a school in Crema. One of my dreams has always been to live in Italy, and I honestly have to pinch myself every day because I am here. I teach 24 different classes, all English, though some with more specific topics. My students are great, they motivate me and inspire me to continue spreading the knowledge of languages through teaching and learning. As you can see international education plays a huge part in my journey.
I hope you find this site both helpful and interesting, as I will be posting my real life experiences, along with advice and many cultural insights.
Sharing my journey on Instagram fuels my desire to continue traveling and showing others the joy of being in movement. In 2015 I lived in Croatia, I often heard the phrase “uvijek oko” and now two years later, living in Italy I hear “sempre in giro” both meaning always around and always in motion. There are so many places to see and to explore, I think it’s important to stay moving, not feel overly comfortable, and appreciate your journey, wherever it may take you.
The ample amount of people who have messaged me about traveling tips or advice has motivated to publish my own website this year, and I am so excited to show you all what I have in store.
I want my posts to resonate with you, I want you to feel like you are here living these adventures with me. There are far too many lessons to learn in life alone. So join me!
I look forward to telling you my day to day life, along with tips on how to plan a trip, the most affordable choices while traveling, what to look for and what to pass on, gaining cultural awareness, learning a new language, moving to a new city, maintaining a healthy lifestyle while on the road, and much much more.
I promise to have you jotting down notes, on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I love to write. I love to travel. And I love connecting myself with new people, just like you! Please don’t hesitate to contact me, I appreciate hearing other peoples stories and those who are curious or want to know more.
Here we go! Maybe it’s part of the Journey.
